A Special Message from Stephanie Freed

I love this photo! Because it tells the story of Rapha House at so many different levels.

This is a picture of me with a baby born to one of our girls. She freely carried this baby to term, knowing that the baby shouldn’t pay for the crimes of a perpetrator. She chose to give her baby life. And now this sweet, precious little girl lives with a loving family, while her birth mother is starting her new life at Rapha House.

For me, this photo speaks of the beauty that comes from tragedy. It speaks of the hope that is born out of despair. It tells of all the promise of life rising from a circumstance threatening death. This is what the work of Rapha House is about.

And this is YOUR work. We could not do what we do without you. And I thank you for all the life, beauty, and hope that you inspire.
