Gifts in Kind, Non-cash Options, Gifts of Appreciated Property. Rapha House will work with your professional advisors to explore the options for making a donation of non-cash assets. These may be stocks, annuities, 401Ks, bonds, mutual funds, oil and mineral rights, or other assets that you have owned for more than one year and that have increased in value since the original purchase. These may be exempt from capital gains taxes. We will work with you and your financial planner and/or attorney to ensure your donation is handled appropriately. Gifts of Real Estate. A gift of real estate must be on unencumbered commercial or residential property. If the property has encumbrances, we will assist you in engaging the services of a local realtor and title company to arrange the sale of the property. However, we cannot take title to the property until the final sale and elimination of lien. The property can be improved or unimproved. Rapha House will work with your escrow or legal advisors to ensure legal compliance and clear title. Please contact us for a personal consultation.

Wills, Estate Planning, and Charitable Remainder Trust. For many donors a gift made through a will or family trust is a wonderful way to help others. A wide range of assets can be designated as a donation through an estate including cash, stock, mutual funds, jewelry, and real estate. The donor can stipulate the purpose of the donation for a specific project or general support. Bequests can be made in honor of a loved one. Memorial Gifts. Make a one time gift to honor a loved one. What a wonderful way to pay tribute to someone you’ve cherished. Rapha House will acknowledge your memorial gift to family or friends of your choosing. Contact us, and we will assist you to ensure that your gift is properly recognized.

Child Sponsorship. For just $30 a month, you can bring education and opportunity to impoverished and vulnerable children whom we reach out to through our Kids Clubs.

Check to see if your employer will match your contribution. This doubles the amount you give. Sponsor a Teacher or Counselor. Designate your recurring monthly gift of $100 to provide resources for our counselors and teachers. This is a great way to provide real help to the girls that they serve.

Rapha House offers legal ways for donors and investors to support economic development programs to combat trafficking by stopping it at its roots—poverty and the lack of opportunity.

Cambodia is primed for rapid development and investment by enterprising investors who recognize opportunities within a fast growing emerging market. The administrative staff of Rapha House knows Cambodian business and can assist in exploring possible commercial opportunities for investment. Micro-credit and Credit Institutions. Interest rates make it prohibitive for the average Cambodia to borrow money. Many of the poor turn to loan sharks and suffer under usurious rates. English Language Schools and Computer Training Centers. English language schools are big business in Cambodia. However, many of these are operated by Australians or Filipinos. Cambodians want to learn American English. And we have the vision to fulfill that need.

Additionally, by crossing the digital divide through computer training, we will be able to prepare a new generation of young people to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.

Agriculture. Agriculture is the primary means of support for most Cambodian and Thai families. Rice, corn, potatoes, cotton, spices, mushrooms and other crops grow readily in these tropical environments. Many of our girls come from families of impoverished migrant workers. And they return to their homes whenever their families are assessed to be low risk. Still the these families need avenues out of poverty to give their children opportunities for a brighter future. We are developing real solutions to meet this needs and welcome the opportunity to explore these with you.

Rapha House is seeking partners that can help with setting up water purification systems at each of our facilities and assist us with providing improved sanitation capabilities especially at our new safehouses.
